Funded by the Netherlands Embassy in Sri Lanka, WERC initiated this project to raise awareness regarding the prevention of violence against women among the youth population in Sri Lanka through the tools of forum theatre. 

This project is implemented by training youth groups in four provinces: Western Province, Uva Province, Northern Province, and Central Province, regarding gender, gender-based violence, forum theatre and using newspaper theatre as a tool for raising awareness to prevent violence against women.
