Home gardening is such a pivotal activity for communities in Sri Lanka, especially at this time, as it supports the most vulnerable families to have their own homegrown vegetables, provides household food security, and tackles hunger during the economic crisis.

Funded by the Women's Fund of Asia and implemented by WERC, this project helps women in districts of Mullaitivu by offering them a sustainable solution to food security and further enabling them to generate an income as a means of livelihood.
