Continuing our efforts to raising feminist consciousness among staff of civil society organizations in Sri Lanka, the Women's Education and Research Centre successfully completed a series of training sessions for civil society representatives of organizations based in the Uva and Southern provinces of Sri Lanka.

This programme successfully brought together administrative, finance, and program staff from each CSO to foster understanding and initiate collaborative approaches to programme implementation within their organizations, with a focus on integrating gender. Participants were able to gain valuable insights into gender and programming through the trainings.

Participants for the sessions included representatives contributing to community efforts covering plantation communities, women's rights, governance, media gender, education and youth development. The sessions were successfully completed with support received from Diakonia, Sri Lanka.
